I found out about Blue Magic Strings through a good friend. As a pro level bass player, I take pride in my tone. After a sound check for a show with Billy Gibbons, his comment was: ”I dig your tone, man,” My tone requires bright strings. I normally use 45-100 gauge but with Blue Magic I’m using 45-105. They feel extremely comfortable, stay in tune and last 3 times longer than other bass strings.
I am the bass player for Florida based group Blandini with guitarist Jeff Blando”Slaughter, Vince Neil and drummer Will Hunt, “Evanescence and now touring with Godsmack”. I toured with 38 Special in 2022 and have performed with Billy Gibbons, Vince Neil, Sebastian Bach, George Lynch, Steven Pearcy, Jesse James Dupree to name a few.
