As a guitar player since I was 13, I have played in and out of bands and bars for over 40 years. I have tried D’Addario NYXL, Ernie Ball Super Slinky, GHS Boomers, Dean Markley, etc. None of them lived up to what I really wanted or needed. I am in a working band, here on Florida’s Treasure Coast that plays between Vero Beach & Miami, and we cover songs from bands from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and newer – so my guitars need to work hard and sound good. Recently, I took one of my favorite guitars to a local luthier in Stuart, Florida.
When I go pick it up, the freaking amazing VOODOO Magic that BRIAN HILL did on my SQUIER Telecaster was unbelievable, BUT, the strings he used, OMG – the Feel, The Tuning Stability, and that TONE! The TONE KILLED ME! This particular Squier had some extra Mojo in it when it was born. Brian added even more with the work he did – then with these strings – PERFECTION!
I have owned and played many Gibson Les Paul’s right off the shelf that were brand new that didn’t hold a candle to this guitar! Art Fyvolent & Robert Butterworth – Thank You for the best strings I have ever had and played on ANY of my guitars, EVER.
